Rundll32 Illegal Operation

I am running win 98SE.After weekly defrag and a reboot, I received rundll32 has performed an illegal operation after desktop screen appears. Details page says rundll32 caused an invalid page fault in module newdotnet3_23.dll. I have checked for registry errors and disk errors. None found. If I close message everything seems to run fine until next boot. Please help.
