running a program after it is launched

Hi,

I know how to schedule a task for a program to start with task scheduler in windows 2000 but I want to tell the program to do a specific job after it gets launched. For example, I want to winamp to play a song after it gets launched by the task scheduler. Can someone show me how to do this? Perhaps, I need a tutorial on batch and scripting, does anybody of a good place or book to learn this???
