I have a winnt4.0 platform.. With win95&98 clients.I have a registry script that I wrote to change the registry on certain w95&98 clients.I wrote it on a win95 computer and copied it over to the netlogon share on the pdc & bdc). I called it setup.reg. I put this in their Logon Script Name in there User Environment Profile. So that when they logon it should read this file.It does not read it at all. I entered it as the following:
regedit /s setup.reg.. I did try just regedit w/out the switch. If I run it from the run command on a w/95&98 machine it works fine.I do have a logon.bat file that I run from the users Logon Script Name and this works fine. Is there a reason that it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance..
