running a script after Windows unlock

By misterIT ·
Hi, The Windows Task Scheduler is fairly limited in its functionality.

I want to automatically run a task, after the user has been unlocked the PC (from "computer is locked" dialog). I don't mean "logging in", but I mean "unlocking".

Can I do this ?

lets see, you want to run a special script after the resume password protect screensaver option , to get to the desktop, is unlocked by the user.

you could create a program as a Windows service program that has a trigger on it. But this sounds awfully like a "get even" with someone scheme.

Hi D.R. , this is not any 'scheme'. Actually, I am running a VNC Server on a machine (www.tightvnc.com), and want it to shut off automatically when I unlock - to prevent someone 'spying' on me. Is there a readily available program/utility ?
