Running DOS Application on WINDOWS XP
I am trying to run a MS-DOS application (called tally) under Windows XP over NTFS filesystem; I am unable to do so as it returns the following error message:
Tally Abnormal Completion
Status: 3
Insufficient Files provided by DOS
Internal error
I have used NTVDM even with configuration for DOS likes Files, Stacks, DOS in high UMB in CONFIG.NT.
I have maintained it in the same folder as the above application and directed the shortcut to utlise the CONFIG.NT and AUTOEXEC.NT by configuring the ADVANCE option provided in PROGRAM Tab of the PROPERTIES of the shortcut.
Please help
