Running Ms ISA 2006 in a perimeter network

by jcnguri . Updated 18 years, 11 months ago

I need some guidance:
My usual setup is:
An AD server, a member server running ms exchange which is published on the ISA box who forwards all DNS requests to my ISA two homed box running Ms Win2K3 and ISA2004, belonging to the AD above..whose one leg – on AD’s network and the othe leg towards a internal firewall etc etc..

my new setup:
same as above but ISA will now be in the perimeter network but STILL a member of the AD Domain, introduce a front end server that will be published into the ISA 2006..

Question:
Should the ISA2006 be in it’s own domain or should it remain in the existing AD domain and why?
Thank you!
John
