Runs Batch file if specific error occurs on System Event Viewer

Hi,

i am running a Windows Server 2003 Web Edition.

I have a uestion concerning the system event viewer. I want to run an application, if i get a specific error thrown which is listed in the system event viewer. What i want to do, is to run an application that makes a restart. Further more i want a mail send to me, but this i could also do via the batch file i want to run.

So can please someone help me?

I was wondering if you ever found a solution for this. I am looking for a something to search through the application log for a specific event and based on the event, send out an smtp e-mail. If you have an answer for this, would you mind sharing the solution?
