Our finance department use Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
The problem is that both programmes want to run under an account with local admin rights, which none of our users have for obvious reasons.
Sage Payroll does give an error on starting the program saying that it has insuffient rights, whereas Sage just closes to the desktop without warning (thus losing whatever data the user was working on). When local admin rights are granted these problems don’t occur.
I’ve tried granting rights to the Sage folders on the hard drive, and also in the registry.
Is there anything anyone can suggest?
