Same internal/external namespace problem

by mojochang . Updated 23 years, 10 months ago

I have the same domain name, mydomain.com for both internal and external namespaces. All clinets point to internal DNS servers and I set up ISP’s DNS as forwarders. However, users on the company’s private network cannot resolve the name of our webiste, www.mydomain.com hosted by ISP, but have no problem accessing any others. Base on MS, for this scenario to work, two separate DNS zones must exist. One zone will exist outside the firewall, but how do I configure the zone outside the firewall (Cisco PIX506E)?
What parts of network topology will involve in the modification? Thank
