San Disk Cruzer Titanium

By oneonlysupermouse ·
Hi guys,

I recently purchased a sandisk cruzer titanium, a 512mb flash drive, and while the thing works great for windows xp sp1 it windows will not recognize it with sp2, the drive is getting pwr and windows refuses to mount the drive, it is listed as "unknown device" under the device manager.

check your device Manager for the Universal Serial Bus contrllors. You might need to install the USB 2.0 drivers. the flash drive is a USB 2.0 device.
You will need you Windows CD to install it.

Good Luck

Also check on the homepage of your flashdrive manufacturer for updated drivers.

I had a similar issue with usb devices. To resolve them I removed the usb controllers and reinstalled them. This solved the problem but I don't know why. Maybe some update corrupted them.

Cheers.
