I’m demo’ing Total Video Converter and I’m running into the same problem I’ve encountered with several other converters.
Ultimately, I’m trying to import a Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1000EX HiDef file (mpeg-4 AVC/H.264) into my Avid editing software. Avid rejects these “.mp4” files.
Total Video Converter “crashes” when trying to convert these files into, .mov, .avi and .mp4 It creates a file in the destination that is only 36 bytes and is not recognized by any player – obviously.
The native Sanyo files play perfectly in “Nero Show Time 3” which shipped with the camera.
Any ideas? Suggestions?
