First of all be sure you are plugged in all the way at the back of the computer. It sound like the power cord may have jarred lose and second be sure your family or someone has not tampered with the inside connections perferrably the power switch(pow sw)light green and white wires or an extra no.13 red wire for 3 pin outs. And third,if your internet connection is out. Some systems need wan,lan modem or irc to start.

1.check if your power switch working. Some time the dust or other garbage can block it.
2.your power source is too low. can you try with one more strong?(400w may be enough if you have atx motherboard)

Check the capacitors on the motherboard. They should all be flat. If slightly raised, it is blown. If even one is blown, this will render your system useless.

I've seen this happen on Micron systems. If the CMOS backup battery is dead the system will not boot. Check and replace the battery. You might be surprised.
