Sat Nav on PDA

By midniteone ·
climbed out of the car and thought I've got one too many electric boxes to cart around so I'm (maybe) looking at SatNav/GPS software for a PDA (HP Ipaq) or SmartPhone

anyone got any good ideas, horror stories, or other thoughts?

Yes I know all you over the other side of the pond think GB isn't LARGE enough to need a SatNav to get around, but speaking as someone who can get lost in a supermarket car park...(!!)

Feel free to pm me - I currently have TomTom on an HP Ipaq and can't live without it....

or get to some of our units without it....

or find my way home again......

The main problem here in GB is that we have so many WINDING ROADS as opposed to the EASY STRAIGHT interstates over in Yankland.

(ok, guys, you know me, I'm on wind up.... )

I'm assuming you're looking at the pros, cons etc? Any particular model in mind? Manufacturer? Price?
