SATA Drive Headache

by cwilk73 . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

I have recently installed Windows XP Pro on a system that I built. The main (C drive) is Western Digital 74GB SATA drive. I encountered no problems loading and configuring Windows. The problem is that I have recently added an additional Seagate ST3200822AS 200GB SATA drive to the system. My system recognizes the Seagate within Device Manager and says it’s working properly, but I cannot access the drive through MY COMPUTER. It’s not even listed as one of the drives. How do I acces this drive which Windows obviously is there, but won’t allow me to access?
