I have a Dell Poweredge 840. It came with a SAS 5iR controller. I want to use it to run an old copy of Netware 6.0. I tried installing Netware with the controller but I could not find any Novell Drivers for the SAS 5iR controller. Just one drive to install the the Netware OS would be better than nothing.
I removed the card. Connected one SATA drive to the SATA 0 controller on the motherboard but the BIOS does not recognize it. Thus I can't load the OS. How do I make the BIOS recognize the drive?
