I have a ECS P965T-A MoBo South Bridge with a 82801HB/HR (ICH8/R) LPC Interface Controller. My Sata hd installs correctly but my PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-212D ATA Device installs as IDE. but its has a red Sata cable. doesn’t use the grey IDE cable. Is’nt this a SATA Device? I understand it should be installing as SATA not IDE? What have I forgotten? As Spock would say “This is most illogical!” Help.
