Hello all im looking for some help here.
i think ive used up my nine lives on this one.
i was firstly messing with the thought of moving vista os from ata to a sata drive and somehow in a partitioning program ive lost all connectivity with the hd its a wd 500 sata
the os didnt live on this drive
now the thing shows in bios correctly
but not only will it not show in vista i cannot boot vista hd with htis drive connected…also cannot run hd tools from bootable disk they fail to start with this connected
when disconnected i can boot vista
but hotplugging it doesnt make it show to anything………any help really appreciated tia
btw even vista cd cant boot to a safe/repair mode with it connected
