SATA hdd died when upgrading BIOS

by killen2times . Updated 18 years, 8 months ago

Hi!
I have an 875P NEO Series (MS-6758) motherboard.
And when I was playing any kind of game, I got some Grafic card problems, I got a error message, that if I was continuing like this I could harm my grafic card bad 😉
So I used google, to track down my problem, and found someone that have the same, and he solved it with new drivers to his motherboard.. So I thought if I’am downloading new drivers It might help me to, so I got every damn new driver =)
I started with the BIOS driver, but It was like taking forever 😉 so got the store as it was upgrading, and when I came back I got “Unable to boot!”
So what the hell, dont have time for this, lets reinstall windows =) but as I was going to, the computer didn’t find my hdd drive, it’s not even getting any power.. It dont spin at all..

So from this extremly long story =) my question is, did I brick my bios? or Just got some stupid version of an BIOS?

My friend and my brother thought that I mayby had got some old or new version that dont support SATA drive…

I would be happy for any answer, even if it is, n00b =)

thanks! =)
