I built a computer with a dual boot setup for both OS. Vista is installed on an old Western digital IDE drive and XP on a Maxtor SATA with a second SATA for storage. Both saw the SATA drives for 6 months Now suddenly Vista no longer sees the drives. Seen several posts saying this can be fixed during initial installation but I don’t want to go back to that nightmare. What can i undo which suddenly stopped my drives working???
