Hello, I recently bought an Asus SATA Dvd drive and tried hooking it up to my Asus A8V Deluxe Motherboard which has two ports for Sata1 and Sata2. Have it plugged into Sata1, when I start the computer the drive shows up, but when I get into Windows although the drive has power and will open/close, it isn’t recognized at all.
I went to the Asus site looking for drivers but was unsure which one would fix the problem since I have no clue where my motherboard driver cd is at anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if any more info is needed let me know and I will do my best.
