sata software for linux es3.0

I WANT TO INSTALL LINUX ES 3.0 ON MY NEW PC. BUT AS SOON AS I START INSTALLATION MY PC GIVES A MESSAGE "NO HARD DRIVE FOUND". SO I THINK I NEED A SOFTWARE FOR THIS SATA DRIVE. I NEED THAT SOLUTION SOFTWARE.

Verify your motherboard drivers CD, for Linux SATA drivers. If don?t exist, go to motherboard manufacturer?s site and look for SATA Linux driver.
Also when you start the Linux installation you must specify at one point, when the install procedure ask that you have SATA drive. (This point may look like PRESS ?.. FOR SCSI OR SATA DRIVE)

redhat linux not support sata hdd

inux sata hdd is not support when u install the linux os on sata hdd u need to type at booting time (linux all-generic-ide noapic nolapic) u need to type this thing . only problem is after instalation u canot boot . its showing kernel panic error . i am also facing same problem. i dont now how to write mount sata hdd .
