Hello I have just bought a serial ATA 11 Samsung hard drive model number is hd 501 LJ
my motherboard is not 3 GB/s per second it is only 1.5 and the serial ATA instructions say that Sam Song do not use jumper pins it is controlled by software www.Samsung hard drive.com but I don’t know what I’m looking for it is a 500 gig serial ATA drive as anybody else got one of these drives to work on a sata 1 motherboard any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance Bob
