I updated bios on Toshiba satellite A200-09V PSAE3C-09V08C
after downloading the updated bios from toshiba and installing it whenever I boot up it will no longer recognize my password
I found this bug bulletin on toshiba:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=SB&os=&category=&moid=1596138&rpn=PSAD6U&modelFilter=A135-S2246&selCategory=3&selFamily=1073768663&selModel=1596138|PSAD6U#
This is very frustrating, as there is no way to install the update to fix this if I can not get into windows
I get prompted for password no matter how I try to boot and it will not recognize my password. Apparently updating the bios has reset my password.
This is a pretty old laptop with expired warranty, but it is not fair that I should have to buy a new motherboard or pay service centre if this is due to toshiba bug in bios
Please advise
Kind thanks
