save link from Tech R.email to My Doc’s

I often save the articles from the Tech Republic emails. I have a problem saving articles that are reached from a link in that email. I am saving these articles in “my Documents” in a folder titled Tech Republic how to. When I follow the link from the email to the article I wish to save . I receive an error warning saying I cannot save from the web address. I am using Windows XP. I need “How to help”. Thank you
