    Saving a file

We have a very old system called microbiz plus for windows. It is a point of sales system. I want to save my customer files as a csv file. There does not seem to be a way to do this in the version we have. They never answer the service line and even their online support does not answer. My question is, I can print my customer list, is there a way to set up a printer to print to Csv the same way you can print to pdf? I should point out this is a windows based program.

While we do have the Text Printer for Windows built in you want it to be CSV which I’ve never seen in the wild for decades. So no to that.

But you could print to the Windows Text printer (easy for you to find with Google) then take that file and massage what you want from there.

https://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator might be an solution but would need a programmer to alter or create the CS-Script files to fine tune what you are looking for. Not as trivial or as fast to getting at the ASCII data as my first method.
