How do you setup a log file to save the chats once the user signs off?

The only way I can see to do this is to save each session to a text file BEFORE closing the chat window. (Choose File, Save.) The Help file for AIM only describes logging file transfers.

All you have to do is to check out the Help section, you don't have to set it up just after the person signs off click on the File option ( in the instant message window not the list window) then choose Save and save the instant message in a file on your hard drive. When you go to open the saved file it will open as a web page with the screen names and entire conversation, if you save it as the default saving option.

Happy Computing !!
