Does anyone know if installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 on a Win XP machine with Office 2003 causes the "Saving the AutoRecovery file is postponed for Normal.dot" error? I never had this problem until installing IS2010, but maybe some Windows update is the culprit.

But that doesn't mean much. I have run into numerous screwy issues like that that have all been traced back to Software Conflicts.
Most times a wipe and reload cures issues like that but if they persist you have to start looking at the installed Software and it gets not only time consuming but it's very frustrating.
I have turned off the autosave feature in Word, Excel and Outlook. That seems to have fixed the problem, however, it does not explain why the problem arose in the first place.
