    Saving files

I have several users that are unable to save changes to their Excel documents on the network drives. Excel saves them as temporary documents with no extension. Microsoft referred me to Novell’s site. There is a document there with a patch #2933237 NT411P1.EXE. It doesn’t reference a Novell 3.2 server which is what we have. Is there a patch for this problem that will work with a Novell 3.2 server?
    Thank you
    Lindy

Those TIDs actually refer to the 4.11 version of the NT client, not NetWare 4.11.

If you are running NT you should move up to the latest NT client (v4.7).

The answer didn’t direct the question asked.

Just a silly question, but do the users have rights to save a file to the network directory? I had this problem a while back and found I had overlooked the simplest fix.

Good question, but not any help. Yes the users have access, especially to their own home directory, they have full access.
