SBS 2003 CAL Transfer question

Our old SBS 2003 server died, and we are buying a new server. The old SBS 2003 was an OEM version, so we are forced into buying a new copy of SBS 2003 software for installation on the new server.

QUESTION:
Can I remove the old servers CALs and add them to the new servers OEM version of SBS 2003 (giving me 10 CALs)?

Since I can’t use the old software, seems like I should be able to get something out of it.
