SBS 2003 - outgoing internal emails between exchange users and pop users

By andres ·
We just installed SBS in one of our office. 4 of the users have exchange mailboxes. All other email accounts belonging to the same domain use local outlook and pst files on their computers. Incoming emails, internal and external work fine. The problem is when any of the 4 exchange users try sending emails to any of the other members of the domain that do not have exchange hosted mailboxes. These emails seam to be sent according to outlook, but never reach their destination. Any suggestions? By the way I am an architect, I hope what I explained makes sense.

In your Exchange Server, Exchange System Manager ... dig down to your SMTP virtual server / properties / Messages tab / find the "Forward all mail with unresolved recipients to host" box and fill in the IP or DNS name of the external email host.
