I just spent the morning setting up a new NT 4.0 Server. The install was normal? with a one different setting I entered (static IP address, server will be our org’s website machine.)and DCHP disabled. Since DELL pre-installed the software image, Ididn’t specify whether the machine will be a PDC(can’t do it with SBS 4.5), BDC(no need here)or Server (What I understood the new server should be.)when I came to part when Setup ask if the server will be part of a Workgroup or Domain, I had to chose Workgroup for the Setup to complete. How do I get SBS 4.5 to see the new server as a member server? Any thoughts, comments, and pointers in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!!!
