SBS and SonicWall Pro and T1

Is anyone aware of any attack or corrupted content that would result in the following?

We're running SBS 4.5 w/Exchange 5.5. Have a new (March) T1 with voice and data. Between the two a SonicWall Pro with the latest firmware. Yesterday a.m. no Internet and I saw right away the Test and Alarm lights on the firewall were on solid. Power cycle the firewall, same deal. Can't even reset according to manual's instructions. So I have a tech. come in with a loaner Pro VX for a few days until he can have delivered and configured, a new firewall. Now, a day later, still on the loaner, the Pro VX locks up pretty regularly (4 times so far today and it's just lunch time) but will recover when I turn off and on again, unlike the now dead Pro.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The logs are cleared when I turn power off to the firewall. No clues in the Windows Event Viewer.
