SBS Server2008 have a folder winsxs, which is taking lot of space

I have a SBS server 2008 standard 64 bit, and it have a folder winsxs, which is taking lot of space of c drive. can any body tell me how can I Cleane or remove it.

Winsxs is a vital part of the OS, don't remove it

Googled "winsxs" and quickly found, among others, this page: http://boshdirect.com/blogs/tech/how-to-reduce-size-of-winsxs.html

So, if you delete some rollback options, then you may make this folder a bit smaller, but you can't do much about it. Winsxs is a central part of your system.

If you have installed and uninstalled a lot of applications, then some of them has most probably left some dll's behind in this structure. In that case, a wipe&reinstall might help you to free up some space.
