Scandisk never stops in Server 2003

I have 1 machine running Windows Server 2003 that is in use nearly 24/7 which means scheduled reboots/maintenance is always in at some ungodly hour usually on a weekend. Fortunately, every week or so there is enough down time for a reboot with scheduled scandisk. Unfortunately, after completing the scan when the server goes to restart, the scan initiates itself again instead of going to windows. How do I eliminate this so I dont have to come into work 8 hours early just to press any key to skip the 2nd scan?
