Scanned redlines and print

By jsarinana ·
We have users that need to scan multiple sheets that have been redlined then take these scanned sheets and save them as one .pdf file which are multiple sheets that are then print out for others to view at meetings. Any recommanded hardware and software would be greatly appriciated.

Scanned redlines and print

Are you asking about what type of scanner can do this? There are models from Epson and HP that can scan about a hundred sheets in less time, automatically. They can scan up to A3 sizes. But usually these types of scanners are used by 2d animation studios, and pass on to photoshop or Toonz programs. I don't know if I answered you correctly, but yes, it can be done. They are just a bit expensive.

Thanks, Now that I look at my question a second time I see that I was not very clear. We went with a digital copier/scanner which allows us to do these job quickly.

Hi you will need Adobe Acrobat and a good scanner if you are scanning a lot of sheets then look for a fast scanner probably of a scsi type interface. That is if the cost of scanner type mentioned in answer 1 is too high.
