We have recently received new laptops and desktops. I have imported the x64 driver package into sccm and to my image and then i have imported the X86 to my boot image. When the import completes at the bottom it says
error: all boot image(s) can not be updated
boot image -X86 – the sms provider reported an error.
I also received the above error while importing the drivers to my x64 image.
When i look into the driver tab in my image the drivers show up, but when i boot into PXE and hit F8 for the command prompt i don’t receive any ip address which leads to to believe it is not reaching the distribution point. If i manually distribute content there is no point to choose which i believe there is nothing to update. older machines that we have used to image before still work correctly. How do i force a distribution or has anyone seen this issue before?
