Hi

I am pretty sure that as Windows updates are now released at preset times, the schedule is set to these times. If you were able to change it, you might get updates later than they are released.

If you really want to control when updates are downloaded and applied to your computer, you should turn Automatic Updates off and choose to manually download and apply them.

As for the updates available to MS-AntiSpyware, I think the frequency of these can be controlled from within the program itself.

Because both these updates are considered very important, there is no schedule you can adjust. You simply control each from within Windows or the program.

Hope this helps

update schedules can be part of group policy which is set by the domain administrator. you can use rsop (Resultant Set Of Policy) to find out where the policy is set to schedule updates. Then, go to that policy and change it if you have rights.
