SCO Unix installation

By pheuerman ·
I am installing SCO Unix 5.05 and after installation is complete, i get the message: trying to boot, no active partition.
If i boot from install CD and type hd(40) at boot, it will boot from HD and run fine.
What steps might i be missing or how do i correct??

It sounds like the active partition may not be your boot partition (hd40). Use a floppy that can boot with fdisk on it to verify that the active partition is correct.
