Screen pop-ups @ start up

By jwebfoot2togo ·
When I start my PC it automatically opens the system 32 folder. I have looked through the registry and couldn't find an obvious errors. The problem started after an AOL security update and they (of course)denied ever hearing of this type of problem. Anybody got an idea to fix this annoying glitch?

you probably have a resistry entry that opens this folder. run an application called 'hijackthis' and delete all suspect registry entries.

and don't forget to run all of the applications in safe mode!

in your registry, look in the "run once" and "run" sections.

I had this problem too - I went to lavasoft's website and posted for it. My problem was with Yahoo - I deleted all yahoo applications and then reinstalled messenger and it cleared it right up! But the lavasoft website is: if that doesn't work for you!
