    Screen Recording on Mac

    by chrisnootfound ·

I really need to record video on my MacBook for both school and personal reasons, but I’ve tried QuickTime, obs, and other screen recorders but they can only record the microphone and no internal audio. I’ve looked up so many tutorials on how to fix it, they said to use blackhole, but it didn’t work because the things they showed us during the tutorial like a “Built-in Output” doesn’t show up on my MacBook so I assume it was a different version of OS or could have been an I Mac rather than a MacBook. They also said to download sound flower, but for some reason my MacBook isn’t letting me install it, and they also said to use ISHOWU and it also didn’t work. Can someone please tell me how to record both my internal audio and microphone on a MACBOOK AIR. I have macOS Big Sur v.11

Open QuickTime Player from your Applications folder, then choose File > New Screen Recording from the menu bar. You will then see either the onscreen controls described above or the Screen Recording window described below. To record your voice or other audio with the screen recording, choose a microphone
