I copied a number of screensavers from my Windows ME computer. Each one consisted of a dll file and a scr file. They were in the Windows/System directory.
I would like to copy them to my XP computer but I don’t know which directory to use as a few of the installed screensavers are in the Windows directory and others I can’t find at all.
Why did MS have to do away with File Manager which was a useful tool capable of doing things which Windows Explorer cannot do — in this instance do a wild-card search for screensavers: *.scr
