Script for automatic update installs?

I help manage 50+ kiosks on a wireless XP Pro platform. I am limited to a client access permission. If the solution requires putting it on the server, my manager will shoot it down, even if it is a good idea. I try to keep all of the kiosks updated, but going to each one manually is very time-consuming. The network is large.

Does anyone know if a script exists (or can be made) to run and install the auto updates after they are d/l’ed? I have the auto-update service on automatic, but that only d/l’s them. Thanks.
