script to restart Win2k

By misterIT ·
Win 98 had a script using rundll32.exe , that could restart a PC:

rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 2

Anything similar for Windows 2000 ?

script to restart Win2k

There is a tool in the Resource Kit called SHUTDOWN.EXE
You can get a copy of it, and use the /R switcht to do a reboot.
To reboot the local system, the syntax would just be:
SHUTDOWN.EXE /R

You could put that in a BAT file.

hope this helps
