Script using MUNGE Resource Kit Utility.

By MCdude ·
Has anyone ever used the MUNGE.EXE command to search and replace strings in text files? I am having a major problem with case-sensitivity and need to know if this is a bug/problem with the utility. The -K switch does not seem to work correctly. Please help!!! Thanks.

I don't think there is a problem. I tried it worked. I was using munge from NT 4 res kit supplement 4.

There is no problem if you do not use quotes in your ScriptFile. If you have to use quotes (for instance for UNC names containing \ characters) it IS case sensitive. So a share point of "\\Server1\share" is not the same as "\\SERVER1\share" or "\\server1\Share".
