short and to the point,Problem w/Adaptec 29160 SCSI card Window 2300 server Std. will run from the hard drive only if the w2003 CD is in the CD Drive. If the w2003 CD is not in the drive the system will just loops (re-boots).
Any Ideas Please I have done every thing I can think of and Adaptec ASK was zero help. I have done:
1) reset BIOS per Adaptec
2) changed PCI slots, and drives
3) Loaded latest SCSI sp5 drivers
4) Loaded different OS w2k server
5) Loaded OS with different cd’s and CD ROMS both SCSI and IDE
6) I have re-booted until the cows came home
7) I low leveled all the drives
8) I ran OS setup in RAW and REPAIR.
9) Adaptec BIOS is current
10) SCSI sees all the hardware
11) I am out of ideas, or what have I missed
