SCSI drive swap

by angler1 . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I have a Compaq Prolinea 200 with two SCSI drives in it. The bootable drive is a 4 gig and the second drive is an 18 gig. They are both on the same controller. There is also no available drive bays left in the machine since I have a tape drive, floppy and cdrom as well. I want to replace the 4 gig bootable drive that has the system partition on it with a 36 gig SCSI drive. Then I want to put the original second drive on it’s own controller and create a mirror set of the original second drive ( currently all one partition) with the free space on the 36 gig. My question is this: Can I put the 36 gig drive on the same cable as the other two drives and use Nortons Ghost to transfer the bootable drives image to the new 36 gig drive?
Thanks for any help!!
