SCSI driver NT to 2000 migration

This weekend I came into work to migrate NT to WIN2000 server. I did two servers which use scsi controller cards. I had to run a wk2setup.exe to convert scsi drivers from NT to 2000. On one server it became a real pain not to mention time sucker. Anyway I have another server which is low end and has two ide h.d. one h.d. uses a Ultra 100 card. Will I have to go through additional steps like my scsi controllers or does it just work since it is not scasi but an ide controller ?
