SCSI Hard Drive

By mbertel ·
If I wanted to use a SCSI hard drive in my computer, would I install it like a IDE HD and would I use fdisk so I can install the OS and other software I wanted to use? Thank you for the input.

SCSI hdds are used in the same manner as IDe drives.... the only exception is that you need a SCSI controller for SCSI drives and IDE controllers for IDE drives.

Fdisk, format, all other commands/utilities are the same and you would follow the same process in setting up SCSI as you would for any other drive.
