I needed access to a Compaq DeskPro EN 350. I did not have the hardware password so I reset it by moving the CMOS jumper on the motherboard. On startup, I see the following:
Adaptec AHA-2940AU BIOS v1.21
SCSI ID: LUN NUMBER #:# 4:0 -HP CD Writer 6020
SCSI BIOS not installed!
The system boots fine. The HP 6020 appears in My Computer but does not function.
I’ve tried reinstalling NT – no change.
I went into the SCSISelect utility but I really don’t know much about it to see the red flag.
Any suggestions?
