SCSI recognition

By duncanlarry ·
I am trying to install Windows 2000 advanced server on a Compar Proliant Server, The install goes fine until the end when it states that it did not detect a hard drive. What driver do I need to download so that it will recognize the 36.4GB 10k Ultra3 SCSI drive that is installed and how can install that driver.

You will need the drivers for the SCSI controller

You either need to get a floppy with the driver on it and use teh F6 when installing or get hold of the smart install CD for this server from HP/Compaq. It's going to depend on whether or not there is a CD available for it.
